Abstract
PURPOSE: A multimedia service system using the Internet is provided to offer a broadcasting program in real time through the Internet and at the same time offer the diverse information data such as various kinds of moving images, ADs, audio and news. CONSTITUTION: The multimedia service system comprises a terminal supporting the Internet communication, a media storage(100), a data storage(200), a selection display(300), a cache server(400), a member authentication tool(500) and a data managing part. The media storage comprises a scheduler(110), a VOD/AOD(Video/Audio On Demand) encoding server(120) and a media server including a broadcasting media server(131), an audio media server(132) and a moving image server(133). The data storage comprises an AD DB(210), a news DB(220), a broadcasting DB(230), a media information DB(240), a moving image DB(250), a member information DB(260) and an image DB(270). The selection display has a menu selection part(310) for selecting a media file and a VOD and an AOD player(320,330) for transferring the selected media file to the user.
